We are very, very happy to be home. We learned many things on this vacation of ours, here are a few for you:- Make sure to put a couple extra days on your visa, just in case.
- You have to push airline people to take care of you
- If they say there aren't any other flights, you ask/request/require/demand them to put you on another airline and you get the heck out.
- Make sure you ask what the cap is on your food allowance if your flight is cancelled
- Luggage tags with hand written labels do make it (at least sometimes)
- Belarus is a lot harder to get out of than into.
- Katie is not allergic to wasps (but would still rather not get stung)
- Sometimes cutting in line is a necessity.
- 3 hours is not a long enough layover in the Frankfurt airport. (we joked that 9 hours would have not actually been so bad, at least we could have relaxed)
- Belarus has wonderful people but terrible customer service.
- Giving towels as gifts is a very popular thing (at least in Igor's family).
- Belarusian's make really great food.
- You can sleep 7 people in a one bedroom apartment
- Chickens eat everything and flies bite
Lots of Love.

I can hardly wait for your and Igor's next adventure. It was fun travelling along with you. Love, Mom
Now you are perfectly primed, er, prepared to travel in India. When are you coming? Come come come.
(And oh, btw, the captcha thing here below - the one that asks me to prove I am not a robot (seriously, human beings don't have the capabilities to invent a bot half as awesome as I am)- the image says 404. Ha! Geek joke alert. )
