You know the funny thing about life is that it isn't always what you think that it should be. Sometimes its a lot harder, sometimes a lot easier and sometimes if you put in that added bit of effort for something or someone it really pays off. Sometimes I wonder whether if anything that we do here, on this earth really makes very much of a difference. If we are using our time as time well spent or if we are just blowing bubbles in the merry-go-round of existence waiting for it to all come to a n end without ever noticing that this is what we are doing. The problem with such methods of self and human examination, of course, is that there is never a conclusive answer so the whole thing, ultimately is a great waste of time that could have been better spend feeding your gold fish, if you happened to have any, or perhaps taking a walk on a lovely day rather than sitting inside working on that ever so important pasty complection and wondering what is all meant and where the time had run off to? Let's face it if time were a person by now it have got tired of waiting around for you to come to the conclusion that you were wasting you time and would have run off with your best friend Pat, or Doug, the ruggedly hansom borrista that works in the coffee shop at the end of your block. By the time that you had noticed any of this they would have been married with six children and you none the wiser, still thought that you and time could make it work. (wow talk about random, sorry folks there was a point but now I have forgotten it)
I suppose the point should be that perhaps we should all stop waiting around for things to happen to us and start making things happen. The difference, though subtle, could change our lives. For example, if i decided that instead of writing this blog I would spend the extra time each day going outside and saying "hello" to one person, maybe then I would start the ball rolling, do you know what I mean, kick start the wheels of destiny or something. Of course, the likelihood of me ever doing something as outgoing as saying "hi" to one person I didn't know everyday are pretty much nill so there goes that idea.
Perhaps it really all is pointless so we should not try to help people improve who they are let them fester in their little world of disorder and chaos and say hang it all pack for a rather lovely vacation to Lisbon. Or better yet we come to the simplest conclusion which is that the great mystery of life isn't really a mystery at all but just a practical joke that God was playing on the Devil and he hasn't quite got to the punch line yet. I am not sure why that is the simplest explanation but who really cares, right?
(Hope that you enjoyed tonight's little excursion in to the craziness that is my train of thought sometimes, but not always, lol take care and have a fantastic evening, whatever evening is, if it really exists at all ;0)
