Here is a thrown back writing that I did just over two years ago. I hope that you all enjoy it.
Sometimes it is hard to understand how the world works. We try so hard to make sense of things that have nothing in common; so juxtaposed in our evaluation of the world that even when we are found, we are lost. We want to have the answers to everything, unravel life's mysteries until we come across a truth that is to difficult or painful to deal with. In these times we turn to love, love of a friend, of a family member, of a neighbors and if there is no one there to listen to us, we turn to a stranger. In a stranger we sometimes find something we did not expect; a kind word, a honest opinion, or understanding when we need it the most. Because all anyone every really needs or wants is someone to listen to them, someone to understand. That is one of life's most precious gifts and most sought after commodities, which when looked for can not be found but when found is priceless.
