Euro_Adventure - Day 3

At this point very, very tired, and at least this night the snoring champion was out of form we thought we would get some much needed sleep. Little did we know what would awaken us at 3 in the morning. Enter noisy girl in the bunk below me. Waltzing in at just after three, she proceeded to unpack her luggage from the crate that was below the bunk, which made a banshee like squeal, waking up the entire dorm of 8 people. Once done she put everything back in and banged about for another 5 minutes before finally settling in. 8 people, save maybe the noisy girl, now awake, one after another proceeded to get up and come back in for the next hour. So it was that we spent our second mostly sleepless night in London.
Needed to go to the Belarusian embassy to make sure that we go everything sorted for my visa to Belarus before we headed to France a couple days later, we packed our bags and wished the hostel a very merry go riddance. We touted our bags through the subway and about 45 minutes up the road to the embassy where we found that we would not be able to head to Bristol as planned since the visa would be ready the next day and we would need to be there to pick it up. So it was that we stopped into our first Starbucks of the trip for some free WiFi to search for somewhere to sleep for the evening.
A bit burnt out on hostels I found us a very nice little apartment to rent for the evening, so we could make our own dinner, breakfast and with any luck get some actual sleep! The apartment was about a 40 minute walk through Kensington Gardens, which if you haven’t been to it is a lovely park and you should definitely take the time to have a stroll there.

We got into the apartment dropped our bags happy to be somewhere nice, plugged in to the WiFi and found ourselves another climbing gym to visit about 10 minutes down the road. Very small and not at all as nice as the first two this climbing gym was still a nice little place with a very friendly staff mostly from Italy or Spain, not sure which, perhaps both. There were some rather challenging climbs and Igor, per usual, did most of the routes with the first attempt.
After they gym we went and grabbed some groceries to make some dinner and headed back to our little apartment. Igor cooked us a really good dinner, as he always does (he has become quite the cook). Our third night in England and of our trip we slept like babies.

The next morning we packed ran back to the embassy picked up my newly finished visa and then went down to the bus (coach) station to store our bags so we could walk the earth (aka London) for the rest of the afternoon until it was time to take our bus to Canterbury.
